Seven flats to a floor, two layouts, one decision. A practical way to compare 3 BHK options before you book.
5 min read
A 3 BHK is rarely bought on the number of bedrooms alone. What separates one flat from another is how the rooms sit against each other, where the light arrives from, and how much of the plan you actually walk through every day.
Start with the orientation. Walk the flat at the hour you are usually home — morning for some families, evening for most — and note which rooms hold daylight and which need a lamp.
Then look at the circulation. A good plan lets you reach the kitchen from the entrance without crossing the living room, and reach the bedrooms without crossing anyone else's door.
At The Crest, flats are lettered A to G on each residential floor, in two layouts — one with three toilets and one with two — ranging from 1,442 to 1,710 sq ft super built-up area. Compare two lettered flats side by side on the sanctioned plan rather than comparing brochures.
Finally, ask what is fixed and what is not: the position of the shafts, the beams, and the wet areas rarely move, so plan your furniture around them from day one.
