Registration, area schedule, parking, handover terms and the neighbourhood at night — the five checks worth making first.
6 min read
One: the registration. Every registered project carries a RERA number you can look up yourself. The Crest is registered under WBRERA/P/DAR/2023/000789.
Two: the area schedule. Ask for the table that shows carpet, built-up, proportionate common and super built-up area for your specific unit number — not the project average.
Three: parking. Confirm in writing where your allotted space sits: basement, ground floor, or the front open space.
Four: the handover terms. Read what is included in the finish specification and what is listed as extra.
Five: the neighbourhood after dark. Visit once at night. Lighting, footfall and access tell you more in ten minutes than any brochure can.
